THE FRANCES ROOM
Capacity: Up to 16 Guests Seated
Named in honor of Frances Haik, this intimate private dining room offers an elegant setting for milestone celebrations, executive dinners, board meetings, and special occasions. Featuring a vaulted ceiling adorned with hand-painted gold magnolias, rich jewel-toned accents, and warm, sophisticated finishes, The Frances Room was designed to feel both elevated and inviting. Complete with dedicated service and audiovisual capabilities, the space provides a refined experience tailored to your event.
THE SUNNY ROOM
Capacity: Up to 52 Guests Seated
Featuring a stunning fireplace, private bar, and dramatic skylight, The Sunny Room is Kirkwood's signature event space. Named in honor of Sunny Haik—Mac Haik's wife, a former fashion model, mother, and designer—the space reflects her timeless feminine style and eye for beauty. Elegant artwork, thoughtful design details, and abundant natural light create a warm, sophisticated setting for rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, corporate gatherings, holiday parties, and larger celebrations, all while embodying the gracious hospitality that defines Kirkwood.
Available semi-private for up to 30 seated guests. Exclusive use or larger parties require a full Sunny Room Buyout.
MAIN LOUNGE & BAR
Capacity: Varies by Configuration
Designed to feel like a welcoming den, the Main Lounge & Bar offers an intimate setting with comfortable lounge seating, rich finishes, and a lively social atmosphere. Ideal for happy hours, networking events, client gatherings, and casual celebrations, the space may include two reserved high-top tables and the adjacent lounge area prior to dinner service, providing a relaxed setting for smaller groups to gather while enjoying the energy of Kirkwood's bar.
SUNNY ROOM LOUNGE
Capacity: Up to 12 Guests Seated
Centered around the signature fireplace within The Sunny Room, the Sunny Room Lounge is designed for relaxed cocktail-style gatherings rather than full seated dinners. Ideal for happy hours, networking events, birthday celebrations, and casual get-togethers, the space offers comfortable lounge seating, handcrafted cocktails, and shared appetizers in a lively yet inviting atmosphere. Best suited for smaller groups, the lounge comfortably accommodates up to approximately 12 guests and is not intended for large private dining events.
FULL RESTAURANT BUYOUT

Is there a minimum spend requirement?
Yes. Food and beverage minimums vary based on the event space, date, time, and guest count. Your event coordinator will provide pricing specific to your event.
Do you offer private and semi-private dining?
Yes. Kirkwood offers fully private and semi-private event spaces, as well as full restaurant buyout options.
What is considered a large group?
Groups of 12 or more guests are considered large parties and are generally required to select from one of our group dining menus. This allows our culinary and service teams to provide the best possible dining experience.
Can guests order from the regular menu?
Groups of 11 guests or fewer may generally order from our regular restaurant menu. Larger parties are required to select from one of our group dining menus.
Do I need a Banquet Event Order (BEO)?
Yes. All reserved event spaces, including The Frances Room, The Sunny Room, The Sunny Room Lounge, and the Main Lounge & Bar, require a signed Banquet Event Order (BEO) and a credit card on file to confirm the reservation, regardless of guest count.
Do you offer pre-selected menus?
Yes. We offer a variety of prix fixe and group dining menu options for lunch, dinner, cocktail receptions, and special events.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. Private dining room reservations and restaurant buyouts require a deposit equal to 50% of the contracted food and beverage minimum. Deposits are applied toward the final event balance and are required to secure the reservation.
Is there a room rental fee?
There is no separate room rental fee for most events. Private dining spaces are reserved through a food and beverage minimum, plus applicable sales tax, gratuity, service fee, and any approved event enhancements.
When is the final guest count due?
Final guest count is due upon execution of the contract. Any requested changes after contract execution are subject to management approval and availability. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate modifications; however, substantial changes may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of the deposit.
What fees apply to private events?
A 20% gratuity and 4% service fee are added to all private dining events. Applicable sales tax will also apply.
How long is my event reservation?
Private dining reservations are scheduled for a designated event window based on the size and nature of the event. Extended event times may require higher food and beverage minimums and are subject to availability.
What forms of payment do you accept?
A credit card is required to secure all private dining reservations. Final payment is due at the conclusion of the event.
Can my group have separate checks?
No. Private dining and group events are presented on a single check. Hosts may designate one payer or coordinate payment arrangements with the events team in advance.
Do you offer audiovisual equipment?
Yes. The Frances Room offers a flat-screen television with HDMI connectivity for presentations and meetings. Audiovisual equipment is available for a rental fee.
Audiovisual capabilities are also available in The Sunny Room; however, due to the location of the equipment, AV access is only available with a full Sunny Room buyout.
Is the Sunny Room Lounge available for seated dinners?
No. The Sunny Room Lounge is designed for cocktail-style receptions with shared appetizers and beverages. It is not intended for full seated dining and is best suited for smaller gatherings.
Can we reserve Kirkwood's beverage carts or Chateaubriand cart for our event?
Our signature tableside beverage experiences and Chateaubriand cart rotate throughout the restaurant and are generally not available for exclusive use during private dining events. Exclusive access may be available only in conjunction with a full restaurant buyout and is subject to availability.
Can I bring a cake or dessert?
Yes. Outside desserts are welcome with advance notice.
Can I decorate the space?
We welcome tasteful decorations. However, open flames, candles, sparklers, confetti, glitter, balloon confetti, and anything affixed to walls, windows, artwork, furnishings, or ceilings are not permitted.
Can I play my own music?
Background music throughout the restaurant is curated by Kirkwood and cannot be changed for semi-private or private dining events. Custom music requests may be accommodated only with a full restaurant or Sunny Room buyout.
Can I bring outside food or beverages?
Outside desserts are permitted with advance notice. All other outside food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, are not permitted unless approved by management.
Is there a dress code?
Kirkwood's atmosphere is polished yet approachable. Our dress code is Business Casual, and elevated attire is encouraged. We ask guests to avoid athletic wear, flip-flops, excessively casual clothing and overly revealing attire. Management reserves the right to determine appropriate dress.
Can I reserve the entire restaurant?
Yes. Kirkwood offers full restaurant buyouts for corporate events, holiday parties, receptions, fundraisers, brand activations, and other special occasions.
